Arsenal fans react to Calum Chambers’s performance at Selhurst Park.

Arsenal fans have targeted Calum Chambers for his performance in Thursday night’s 3-2 win away to Crystal Palace.
Chambers was a surprise inclusion in Arsene Wenger’s first XI as the 22-year-old centre-back made his first Premier League start for Arsenal since August 2016.
The former Southampton man, who spent last season on loan at relegated Middlesbrough, was one player in a three-man defence for the Gunners and occasionally struggled against the tricky and bang-in-form Wilfried Zaha.

The jet-heeled Eagles star caused Chambers a number of issues and particularly in the second half when his assist for Andros Townsend offered Palace a route back into the game, while Chambers was also in the region when James Tomkins nodded home a late consolation.
And suffice to say quite a few Arsenal fans were left disappointed with how the youngster – a £16 million signing in 2014, according to The Guardian – played last night.
