Arsenal’s goalscoring issues continued on Sunday, as they failed to find the net against Burnley in a 1-0 defeat.
The Gunners have scored just twice in their last eight Premier League games, with Mikel Arteta under huge pressure to turn things around at the Emirates Stadium.
A new playmaker would be ideal, but with Alexandre Lacazette not exactly impressing this season, Arteta may also be tempted to go for a new striker.
On Monday, Le10 Sport reported that Arsenal are interested in snapping up Stade de Reims striker Boulaye Dia, with Everton also keen.
Dia, 24, isn’t a household name right now, but he has been in superb form in Ligue 1 this season, scoring eight goals in 12 appearances.
The Senegal international has impressed with his ability to run in behind defences as well as having the physicality to play with his back to goal, and he looks to be emerging as a real threat in front of goal.

Arsenal may see Dia as something different thanks to his physicality, and fans have been taking to Twitter to react to the speculation.
A recurring theme was that Arsenal fans don’t want to bring in another Ligue 1 attacker, seemingly having concerns that success in Ligue 1 won’t translate to the Premier League.
Many feel that Dia could be ‘another Nicolas Pepe’ in that regard, with fears that he won’t replicate his success if he makes the move to the Emirates Stadium.
