Arsenal fans aren’t happy with Arsene Wenger over failing to move for the PSG ace.

It just wouldn’t be August if Arsenal fans were happy and content about their summer activity in the transfer market.

Normally, their frustration is centered around Arsenal-linked players who manager Arsene Wenger is refusing to pay the money for.

At the moment, Gunners fans aren’t overly happy about the fact that Bosman Sead Kolasinac and £52 million man Alexandre Lacazette are the only arrivals in North London, while the protracted signing of Thomas Lemar hasn’t gone down well either.

But Arsenal supporters have found a new stick to beat the manager with in the form of Blaise Matuidi who, according to The Guardian, is set to join Juventus for £18.2 million.

The 30-year-old Paris Saint-Germain ace has been one of the most powerful midfielders in European football down the years and, despite his age, that price-tag might suggest that the Italian giants are getting a great deal in this market.

And that is certainly the view of many-an-Arsenal supporter as quite a few of them expressed their disappointment with Wenger for not making a move for him.

It’s hard to argue that they don’t have a point. Matuidi, albeit 30, is still a fine midfielder and one who would walk into Arsenal’s best XI. Wenger is missing a power player of his ilk and you can understand the fans’ frustration.
