Arsenal fans have been left outraged by one new report surrounding Emile Smith Rowe’s future at the club.
The Telegraph reported on Wednesday that Aston Villa have shown an interest in signing Arsenal playmaker Emile Smith Rowe.
Smith Rowe still has two years left on his Arsenal deal, but is yet to agree an extension to stay with the Gunners.
With no agreement in place, Villa are now looking at launching a very ambitious move to bring Smith Rowe to Villa Park.
They raided Arsenal last summer to sign Emiliano Martinez, and may fancy their chances at making it happen again this summer.
Smith Rowe only really got a run in the side from December onwards, but really made a huge impact for Mikel Arteta’s side, bagging two goals and four assists in 20 Premier League games.

At just 20, Smith Rowe is the future of Arsenal, and they simply cannot afford to let a homegrown talent leave the club.
Arsenal fans have been reacting on Twitter, suggesting that Villa are getting ‘brave’ by even thinking they can sign Smith Rowe.
Others think that selling Smith Rowe would be the ‘final straw’, and even worse than joining the Super League because Smith Rowe would be the worst sale since Robin van Persie to Manchester United in 2012.
