Alexis Sanchez won’t be winning the Champions League with Manchester United this season – and Arsenal fans seem delighted.
The Red Devils were eliminated in the last-16 stage of the competition by Sevilla following Tuesday night’s shock 2-1 win at Old Trafford.
Sanchez, who quit Arsenal for United in a swap deal which saw Henrikh Mkhitaryan move the other way, posted a relatively disappointing performance.
The Chilean has looked nowhere near his best since arriving in Manchester, following a series of lifeless displays.
And Arsenal fans on Twitter are delighted that their former hero is hardly setting the world alight.

Sanchez is undoubtedly a world-class talent and few would back against him to start proving fans of the North London club wrong eventually.
But for now the 29-year-old’s confidence looks shot to bits and it will likely stay that way until he improves on his one-goal in nine-game ratio for United so far.
