Jesse Lingard smashed the hosts into the lead, before his quickly-taken free kick gifted Jarrod Bowen the second.
Tomas Soucek flicked home the third to leave Arsenal reeling, but they did get back into the game as Alexandre Lacazette’s strike hit Soucek and went in.
Lacazette has an effort hooked off the line as he continued to be a menace, and when Craig Dawson smashed into his own net, Lacazette stepped up to rescue a point.
The Frenchman headed home Nicolas Pepe’s cross to give Arsenal an unlikely share of the spoils, which was much deserved given his performance.
Fans took to Twitter to share their love for the striker, claiming he was ‘exceptional’ and ‘unbelievable’ against West Ham.
Others now called for Lacazette to start every week, believing he should be picked ahead of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang up top.
Some even hope that Arsenal fans now realise how important Lacazette is, having previously been critical of him.
