Arsenal produced a superb fightback on Sunday afternoon, coming back from 3-0 down to claim a draw at West Ham United.
The Gunners were truly dismal in the first half, falling 3-0 down as Jesse Lingard, Jarrod Bowen and Tomas Soucek all scored.
Arsenal were given a lifeline as Alexandre Lacazette’s shot flew into the net via Soucek, and Craig Dawson then buried an own goal of his own to make it 3-2.
Lacazette headed home the equaliser from a Nicolas Pepe cross, sealing a point for Mikel Arteta’s side, with some disappointment that Arsenal didn’t somehow win the game in the end.
After the final whistle, Lacazette told The Mirror that Arsenal did not respect Mikel Arteta’s game plan in the first half, before eventually coming to life.
These comments have sparked various reactions, with some fans on Twitter questioning just why it’s never captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who steps up and faces the press.

Some feel that Lacazette is more captain material than Aubameyang, whilst others even feel that the comments were directed towards goalkeeper Bernd Leno.
There is a belief that Arteta’s plan was to play out from the back, but Leno kept going long and playing straight into West Ham’s hands – something that just wasn’t good enough.
