Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain didn’t impress for Liverpool on Monday and Arsenal fans have poked a bit of fun at him.

Former Arsenal winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain failed to build on his brilliant performance against Manchester City last week as Liverpool slumped to a shock 1-0 defeat at bottom-of-the-table Swansea City on Monday night.
The 24-year-old was one of Liverpool’s best players eight days ago as the Reds edged out Pep Guardiola’s side to end their unbeaten run in the Premier League, rifling a first-half opener past Ederson.
But Oxlade-Chamberlain, along with a host of his team-mates, was markedly less impressive in comparison to his performance against City and manager Jurgen Klopp hauled him off after 68 minutes for Adam Lallana.

The former Southampton product joined Liverpool for £35 million from Arsenal in the summer, with that price-tag surprising many by virtue of how inconsistent he was during that six-year spell in North London.
Here is how fans of the Gunners reacted as Oxlade-Chamberlain took a backwards step after his latest coming-of-age performance last week.

Oxlade-Chamberlain was by no means Liverpool’s worst player, and some fans of the Anfield club believe that Gini Wijnaldum was far more deserving of a substitution, but he was also not their best and after his display against the Citizens Klopp would’ve expected more of the same.
Consistency, or a lack of, arguably plagued his career at the Emirates and stopped him from reaching the next level. On the back of this, it might stop him from getting there under Klopp too.
