Arsenal defeated Burnley in dramatic fashion this weekend.

Arsenal came out on top in a humdinger of a Premier League clash this weekend, with Alexis Sanchez’s 98th-minute penalty sealing all three points after Burnley had seemingly secured a point of their own when Andre Gray scored from the spot just five minutes earlier.

Two injury-time goals, a sending off for Arsenal’s Granit Xhaka and a Gunners’ resurgence after around them suffered setbacks: it was certainly a big day for Arsene Wenger’s side.

When Xhaka was sent off – not for the first time and surely not for the last – it was Alex Iwobi who made way with the more defensive-minded Francis Coquelin replacing him and that decision generated mixed opinion among Arsenal’s fans.

Iwobi was coming off the back of a two-assist showing against Swansea City earlier this month. However the 20-year-old was less effective this time round.
