Iwobi was in action for Arsenal in their Premier League game against Newcastle at the Emirates Stadium in North London.
The 22-year-old, who can operate as a winger or as a forward, started the match and played for 61 minutes, as the Gunners won 2-0.
The win means that Arsenal are now third in the Premier League table, two points clear of fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur.
The Nigeria international made good runs and played some very good passes, and generally looked lively.
According to WhoScored, against Newcastle on Monday evening, the youngster had a pass accuracy of 85.7%, and put in one cross.
So far this season, Iwobi has made 18 starts and 10 substitute appearances in the Premier League for the Gunners, scoring three goals and providing four assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
Some Arsenal fans were not impressed with the display produced by Iwobi and have criticised the Nigeria international on Twitter.
