Iwobi featured for Arsenal in their Premier League game against City away from home at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday evening.
The 22-year-old, who can operate as a winger or as a forward, started the match and played for 66 minutes, as the Gunners lost 3-1.
The Nigeria international is a very talented and promising young player, but against City, the 22-year-old struggled to play well and make an impact.
According to WhoScored, Iwobi did not take any short, had a pass accuracy of 83.3%, took 28 touches, attempted two dribbles, and made one tackle and one interception.
Arsenal fans were not impressed with the performance of Iwobi and have criticised him on Twitter.
