Arsenal have a major decision to make over the future of Alexander Lacazette this summer.
The Frenchman is approaching the final year of his Arsenal contract, and the Gunners need to decide whether to sell or keep him.
At 29, Arsenal may not want to commit themselves to a long-term deal for Lacazette, and that would leave the Gunners needing a new striker.
The Daily Mail report that Arsenal fancy signing Borussia Monchengladbach attacker Alassane Plea, but face competition from Manchester United.
Gladbach are allegedly willing to sell Plea this summer, and will demand around £15million for him as he, much like Lacazette, is approaching the end of his contract.
Formerly of Nice, Plea wears number 14 because of his love for Arsenal legend Thierry Henry, but has only scored six Bundesliga goals this season.

Plea has just turned 28, meaning he doesn’t exactly represent a much younger alternative to Lacazette, and Arsenal fans don’t seem keen as a result.
Some believe that Plea isn’t what Arsenal need, as he isn’t good enough for them and doesn’t offer any resale value.
Others would prefer Lacazette to Plea, or want Arsenal to target teammate Marcsu Thuram instead, believing that Plea would ultimately be a ‘mediocre’ signing.
