Arsenal and Swansea City went head-to-head this weekend.
Arsenal made light work of Swansea City on Saturday as the Gunners ran out 4-0 winners courtesy of two own goals and strikes from Olivier Giroud and Alexis Sanchez.
Arsene Wenger’s side returned to the top four as a result, but they will know that every single point will be vital in the fight for the Premier League title and a Champions League place next season.
Chelsea continue to lead at the top and it will take one hell of a dip in form for the Blues to let this one slip, but all Arsenal can do is keep winning and keep their fingers crossed.
Arsenal partnered Granit Xhaka with Aaron Ramsey in the centre of the park and the two players operated well together, overcoming a Swansea side that fought hard in the first half but ultimately capitulated in the second 45 minutes.
Ramsey has been blighted by injury this season yet he has overcome a hamstring injury to feature in Arsenal’s last four league matches, starting their last two.
