Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to react to Aaron Ramsey’s latest display for Juventus, and also reminisce over their former midfielder.
The 60-cap Wales international started the Serie A champions’ most recent fixture on Sunday against Verona, lining up alongside Arthur and Adrien Rabiot in midfield.
Unfortunately, the former Cardiff City man couldn’t help Andrea Pirlo’s side earn all three points as they were held to a 1-1 draw. However, he was superb from an individual aspect.
Ramsey made two key passes, and found a target with four of his attempted long-range passes according to WhoScored.
The short montage of his highlights below also shows the 29-year-old getting into some fantastic areas, while his movement and first-time passes helped create openings for his teammates.
In February, it will be two years since Ramsey signed his pre-contract agreement with Juventus worth £400,000-a-week, which saw him end his 11-year spell at Arsenal.
In that time, he has scored two goals and registered four assists in 39 appearances for the Italian giants.
Ramsey’s time at the Emirates came to an end under Unai Emery. He was offered a new contract, although the two parties failed to come to an agreement with the Gunners unwilling to meet his demands, according to the BBC.
