Arsenal are reportedly targeting Dayot Upamecano in January.

Arsenal signed David Luiz back in August, but they continue to be linked with a host of other centre backs to sign in 2020.
The Gunners landed Luiz on deadline day, luring him away from Chelsea, but his partnership with Sokratis Papastathopoulos has been patchy at best.
The veteran pair have looked unconvincing so far this season, and fans would like to see Rob Holding come into the back four.
Yet, according to The Sun, Arsenal now want to sign RB Leipzig defender Dayot Upamecano for £40million, having failed with a similar bid over the summer.
The 20-year-old’s contract is running down, and Unai Emery allegedly hopes to land the Frenchman in January to bolster his back line.
Upamecano has impressed for Leipzig since signing from Red Bull Salzburg in 2017, but a move to Arsenal would be something of a surprise.

Not only do Arsenal have Luiz and Sokratis, but also Holding, Calum Chambers and Shkodran Mustafi, whilst William Saliba will start his Arsenal career next summer.
Arsenal fans have been reacting to the rumour, slamming under-fire boss Emery as they think there’s no point signing Upamecano until Emery has gone, as the Spaniard will just pick Luiz and Sokratis ahead of him – just as he is doing with Holding right now.
