Arsenal fans have hit back at Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Harry Winks, after his latest comments.

Tottenham are due to make the short trip across North London to the Emirates Stadium on Sunday to take on Unai Emery’s side, and Winks was in confident mood.

He said earlier this week to Sky Sports: “Of course they are beatable. The form we are in right now, it is probably the perfect time to go there”

The comments have riled some Arsenal supporters, who now think that the Tottenham man may well be in for a surprise at the weekend.

Tottenham do into the derby match in excellent form, having beaten Chelsea and Inter Milan in their last two matches.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men have coped well under pressure and picked up two highly impressive victories on the bounce.

However, Arsenal are unbeaten in 18 matches across all competitions and do seem to be making great improvements under Emery.

Tottenham are currently three points ahead of Arsenal in the Premier League table, and if they are able to win at the weekend, they would build up a healthy advantage over their near neighbours.
