Serge Gnabry is a name Arsenal fans have been hearing about for years, a young prospect tipped for the very top.

Injury wrote off his season last year, but it came as a surprise late in the transfer window that the Gunners decided to cash in, just after he had impressed with Germany’s under-23 side at the Olympics.

He was sold to German club Werder Bremen, and is already making a positive impact.

Gnabry found the scoresheet in a defeat to Borussia Moenchengladbach at the weekend. It was only a consolation, but what a goal it was!

The 21-year-old’s goal was an instinctive strike, but one only very few players could successfully pull off.

Selling the youngster rather than loaning him is already looking like a rash decision from the Gunners.
