Arsenal fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Serge Gnabry for Hoffenheim against Liverpool on Wednesday evening.
Gnabry featured for German club Hoffenheim in the second leg of the Champions League playoff tie against Premier League side Liverpool away from home at Anfield.
The 22-year-old winger started the game and played for 56 minutes, as the visiting team lost 4-2 to get knocked out 6-3 on aggregate.
The Germany international started his professional club football career at Arsenal and was at the Emirates Stadium until 2016 when he joined German side Werder Bremen.

Gnabry was rated highly when he was at the Gunners, but the youngster failed to make a huge impact for Arsene Wenger’s side.
After spending the 2016-17 season at Werder, the German was snapped up by Bundesliga and European giants Bayern Munich in the summer of 2017 before being loaned out to Hoffenheim for the 2017-18 campaign.
