Arsenal fans on Twitter slated the performance of Saed Kolasinac after Arsenal strolled to a comfortable 2-0 win over Newcastle United on Monday night.

Unai Emery started the 25-year-old on the left for the Premier League clash and Arsene Wenger’s 2017 summer signing produced a mixed display, especially from an attacking sense.

In the game itself, Aaron Ramsey opened the scoring after 30 minutes as Rafa Benitez’s side tried to showcase their attacking intent without any luck.

There weren’t too many clear cut chances, but Alexandre Lacazette made sure of the points seven minutes from time which sends the Gunners into third place and above Tottenham.

One Arsenal fan stated that Kolasinac was ‘woeful’ on the night, while another claimed the defensive powerhouse was ‘a little off today’.

Many Gunners supporters pointed towards Kolasinac’s poor distributions and crosses as a weakness in his game, with one fan joking that he would have ‘134 assists now’ if he improved in that area.

Emery’s side move into third place, two points ahead of fourth-placed Spurs and the same amount of points ahead of fifth-placed Manchester United.

If the North London outfit can continue in their ways then they will secure Champions League football and end the season on a high.
