Manchester United and Arsenal produced a poor showing during their Premier League encounter on Monday night.
Arsenal supporters have blasted Sead Kolasinac for his performance against Manchester United on Monday night at Old Trafford.
Prior to the game, there was hope that summer signing Kieran Tierney would earn his first Premier League start, but he wasn’t even in the matchday squad as Kolasinac kept his place in the team.
In a game where Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang rescued Arsenal once again, the away fans weren’t too pleased with what they saw from Kolasinac.
Some Arsenal supporters think he is a problem player in the team and would like to see Tierney become available as quickly as possible.
Defensive powerhouse, Kolasinac did end up playing the full match, and perhaps his biggest problem was his lack of threat in the attacking third.
Arsenal will now turn their attention to European matters, as Unai Emery has a decision to make as to whether he sticks with Kolasinac in his starting XI.
After their home clash against Standard Liege on Thursday night, Arsenal face a very tricky home fixture against Eddie Howe’s free-flowing Bournemouth side.
Either way, with the lack of options in those fullback areas, Kolasinac will have a big part to play for his team before the international break hits once again.
