Arsenal won against Chelsea in the FA Cup final on Saturday evening.
Arsenal fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Per Mertesacker against Chelsea.
Mertesacker featured for Arsenal in the FA Cup final against Premier League rivals Chelsea at the Wembley Stadium in London on Saturday evening.
The 32-year-old central defender started the game and played for the entire 90 minutes, as the Gunners won 2-1.
Chile international forward Alexis Sanchez put Arsene Wenger’s side in the lead in the fourth minute, and although Spain international striker Diego Costa equalised for the Blues in the 76th minute, Wales international midfielder Aaron Ramsey wrapped up the win for the Gunners just minutes later.
Chelsea ended the FA Cup final with 10 men following the dismissal of Victor Moses midway through the second half.
