Unai Emery has continued to ignore Mesut Ozil and has left him out of Arsenal’s matchday squad on a number of occasions this season.

Some Arsenal supporters on Twitter have slammed Paul Merson for thinking that current outcast Mesut Ozil is the best player at the club.
Sky Sports pundit Merson thinks that Ozil should start to play for the club in these coming weeks to put pressure on Arsenal’s rivals as he thinks that in terms of ‘ability’ and ‘talent’ he is the best at the club, as quoted by The Daily Star.
Unai Emery has continued to leave out Ozil from a number of his starting XI and matchday squads this season, as there seems to be no coming back for the ex-Germany international.
Nonetheless, Arsenal fans were in disagreement with Merson that Ozil is, talent-wise, their best player as they think that crown falls to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
There’s no doubt that Aubameyang is Arsenal’s most important player because, in terms of goals, he has been hitting the back of the net on a regular basis ever since he moved to the club.

There was a mixed reaction to Ozil’s comments, with some thinking that if the former World Cup winner can get his act together then he can produce the goods for the team.
But others feel that he simply doesn’t want to be at the club as it seems as though he may have played his final few games in North London.
Ozil joined Arsenal during the summer of 2013 when the made a £42 million switch from La Liga giants Real Madrid [BBC Sport], and it is fair to say that he has divided opinion like no other.
