Ozil featured for Germany in the 2018 World Cup Group C qualifier (European) against Norway away from home at Ullevaal Stadion in Oslo.
The former Real Madrid attacking midfielder started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as Joachim Low’s side won 3-0.
Bayern Munich attacker Thomas Muller put Germany in the lead in the 16th minute, and his club teammate Joshua Kimmich made it 2-0 on the stroke of half time. Muller wrapped up the scoring for Die Mannschaft on the hour mark.
Ozil played well for Germany and helped his team pick up all three points from the game in Oslo.
Over the course of the 90 minutes at Ullevaal Stadion on Sunday evening, Low’s team had 74% of the possession, took 21 shots of which eight were on target, and earned four corners, according to ESPN.
