Arsenal fans react on Twitter to Mauricio Pochettino’s selfie comments

Arsenal supporters have had an enjoyable couple of days toasting the North London derby win.

The players had fun with the 4-2 victory over Tottenham too, posting pictures of their celebrations on social media.

This riled Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino, who believes it is a complement to his side.

Pochettino said that he felt such celebrations should be saved until a team actually wins something.

He was quoted by Sky Sports: “When the people celebrate like this, it’s because people respect you and see you as a big club.”

He added: “Personally, I don’t like. I don’t like. Obviously if you win a trophy like I won when I was a player, it is a moment to celebrate.”

Arsenal supporters were quick off the mark to point out Tottenham players sharing their own selfies after big wins.

As fans of both clubs are well aware, these did not come after trophy wins.

Pochettino of course did not deny that his players did so, purely that he was not a great fan of it.
