Arsenal right-back suffers yet another injury.
Arsenal defender Mathieu Debuchy has suffered a ‘severe’ injury and faces a potentially lengthy spell on the sidelines.
The Frenchman suffered the injury in the 3-1 win over Bournemouth, in his first appearance of the season.

Debuchy lasted only 16 minutes before he was taken off, adding to Arsenal’s defensive injury problems with first choice right-back Hector Bellerin already set to be out for a month.
Speaking to the club’s official website, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger said that the defender himself is worried: “He thinks it’s a severe one.
“Don’t go too far because I have to speak to medical people, but you can only assess it really after 48 hours. You have to let it bleed and after, usually they have an MRI 48 hours later to see how big the damage is.”

Since leaving Newcastle for Arsenal in 2014, Debuchy’s spell at Arsenal has been blighted badly by injuries.
He was expected to replace Bacary Sagna, but Hector Bellerin has made the right-back spot his, while Calum Chambers and Carl Jenkinson add depth to the position.
This could have been his last chance to really stake a claim in the Arsenal side, and a substantial amount of time out could have dire consequences for his future at the club.
