Arsenal have been tipped to hire Liverpool assistant Zeljko Buvac.
Arsenal have been linked with making a managerial appointment which would stun rivals Liverpool.
Reds assistant Zeljko Buvac is the latest name linked with replacing Arsene Wenger.
News broke earlier this week that Buvac is taking a break from Liverpool for personal reasons, where he has worked alongside Jurgen Klopp throughout his Anfield tenure.
Buvac’s partnership with Klopp goes back even further, to Borussia Dortmund and previously Mainz.
Klopp has famously referred to Buvac as ‘the brain’ behind his managerial success for his meticulous approach to coaching.
Arsenal have been linked recently to Carlo Ancelotti, Brendan Rodgers and Luis Enrique and Buvac is a surprise name to enter the running.
SkySports reported earlier today that Liverpool were still confident Buvac would return to Anfield.
What they will not have anticipated is that it could be in the opposition dugout.
