New Arsenal signing starred for under-23 side in big win.

New Arsenal signing Konstantinos Mavropanos played his part in a big win last night for the under-23s.
The Greek talent joined the club earlier this month and last night featured in his second game in a Gunners shirt.
The first was a 4-0 win against Manchester United’s under-23s, and last night was a 5-2 victory against Bayern Munich in the Premier League International Cup.
Mavropanos lined up alongside FA Cup final star Rob Holding at centre-back, a potential partnership for the Gunners to build around.

Attacker Jeff Reine-Adelaide was the star of the show, netting two goals in the victory.
Strikes from Vlad Dragomir, Jordi Osei-Tutu, Emile Smith Rowe ensured a strong win, knocking Bayern out of the competition.
Mavropanos and Holding were in control for the majority of the game, but Bayern tested them early in the second half, scoring two quickfire goals to draw the scores level at 2-2 before Arsenal’s attackers stepped it up a notch.
Arsenal are likely to keep Mavropanos around rather than send him out on loan although the potential signing of Jonny Evans could alter those plans.
Here is a look at how Arsenal fans reacted on Twitter to Mavropanos’ performance…
