Jeff Reine-Adelaide was tipped for the top at Arsenal since dazzling in pre-season back in 2014.

Four years later Arsenal sold him, without giving him a run in the first team.

Reine-Adelaide is still only 21 and has a bright career ahead of him, as he showed for France’s under-21 side last night.

He was a constant danger in France’s 2-1 victory over England, in which France missed two penalties.

Reine-Adelaide is currently at Ligue 1 side Angers, where he made 30 first team appearances.

He has a long way to go to justify his reputation as a potential superstar, but last night was one of his better performances.

It certainly had Arsenal fans questioning the club’s decision making.

In recent seasons Serge Gnabry and Ismael Bennacer have gone onto be big successes after leaving Arsenal at a young age.
