Arsenal are willing to let midfielder Jack Wilshere go out on loan.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has made England midfielder Jack Wilshere available for a loan move away from the London side in order to give him a chance of first-team football.
The 24-year-old’s career for the Gunners has been badly affected by injuries and Wilshere only made three appearances for Arsenal last season after fracturing his left fibula.
When in form, the 24-year old has the potential to be an influential, top English midfielder. However, due to injuries and lack of game-time, Wilshere hasn’t been able to live up to this title.
Since 2013/2014, Wilshere has started just 29 games for Arsenal and has only made 80 starts in his entire career at the Gunners. He has so far made two substitute appearances this season.
The midfielder was selected by Roy Hodgson for the 2016 Euros squad. He played six times for England over the summer, including three games at Euro 2016.
Wilshere was not named in new England manager Sam Allardyce’s first national squad this week. In order to be in Allardyce’s future plans, it’s crucial for Wilshere that he stays fit and gets first-team, regular football. A loan move would benefit the midfielder. If he was to stay at Arsenal this season, it’s unlikely that he would feature much in the starting Xl.
Wilshere has just under 48 hours to find a loan club before the transfer window closes. West Ham are early favourites to take the 24-year-old. Crystal Palace, Everton, Valencia and Roma are also clubs that could be interested in the midfielder, according to the Telegraph.
