Arsenal fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to react to chief executive Ivan Gazidis’ latest comments.
This past season has been viewed as a disappointing one for Arsenal, despite the fact that they finished second in the table.

However, many believe that is a poor return and they should have been title challengers given their main rivals all had poor seasons.
Much of the blame has been directed at long serving manager Arsene Wenger, with some fans protesting against him across the campaign.
They believe he should leave the club and allow a new man to come in and turn them into genuine contenders once again.

So far that has not happened though, and it seems it won’t in the near future, with Gazidis saying the Frenchman won’t be leaving any time soon.
That has enraged some fans, and they took to Twitter to share their ire at those comments.

As with every football debate though, the opinion was split, as some fans praised Gazidis for his comments instead.
One fan was glad to see him showing faith in a football culture of multiple sackings, while another praised him for his calm sense.
