Arsenal’s first choice right-back Hector Bellerin has found himself sidelined in recent weeks after a shift to a 3-5-2 formation.
Arsene Wenger has preferred Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in the wing-back role, and the England star showed why with a superb cross to set up Danny Welbeck for a goal against Manchester United at the weekend.
Oxlade-Chamberlain got the nod last night against Southampton, but lasted only 35 minutes before succumbing to a hamstring injury.
He could now miss the FA Cup final and it means a reprieve for Spanish prospect Bellerin.

Seeing him back in the team was a bit of an adjustment for fans, who were split on his performance.
