Aaron Ramsey has been linked with a move to Liverpool amid his ongoing Arsenal contract saga.
Ramsey’s contract expires at the end of the season and he will be free to leave on a free transfer.
This means Arsenal may attempt to cash in during the next transfer window to ensure they get a fee back for him.
It would be sensible for Arsenal to avoid selling to a rival club, but they were content enough to sell Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to the Reds.
Oxlade-Chamberlain was a big hit for Liverpool prior to getting injured, and was spotted with Ramsey at the weekend.
The Welshman has been at Arsenal for 10 years, winning three FA Cups under Arsene Wenger.
He continues to be part of Arsenal’s squad under Unai Emery, but as his contract saga rumbles on, there is a greater chance of his game time diminishing as the new boss plans for a future which may not involve him.
Liverpool are currently joint top of the table after an unbeaten start to the season.
