Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to react to the news that Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed that Tottenham will have Harry Kane back for the North London derby later this month.

Kane appeared to be a doubt for the derby after he withdrew from the England squad for their upcoming friendlies with Germany and Brazil shortly after Spurs’ narrow win over Crystal Palace in the Premier League.

Kane appeared to pick up a knock in the game following a heavy first-half challenge, but managed to continue until he was substituted with 13 minutes remaining at Wembley.

He did pull out of the England squad for their friendlies, with the Daily Mail attributing the withdrawal to the knee injury sustained during the win over the Eagles – but as confirmed on Sky Sports News’ Twitter account on Wednesday, Pochettino has now stated that he will be ready for the North London derby.

The news has drawn an unsurprising reaction from the Gunners supporters who may have been hoping that Kane would not be involved in the game given his brilliant start to the season and record in the derby.

He has scored six in his last five Premier League games against Arsene Wenger’s men. And on social media, Arsenal fans have predominantly expressed their lack of surprise that Kane will be back for the game.
