Krystian Bielik is currently on loan from Arsenal with Championship side Birmingham City.
Krystian Bielik in action during his only other Birmingham appearance
A significant number of Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to heap praise upon Krystian Bielik after the Gunners youngster put in a very good performance in Birmingham City’s win over Wolves on Friday night.
Bielik left the Emirates on loan during the January transfer window and had previously made one appearance for the Blues going into last night’s game at Molineux.
However, two minutes after Paul Robinson’s dismissal early on in the second-half, Gianfranco Zola threw the Poland youth international on for Craig Gardner, seemingly in an attempt to give the defence more support following the loss of their captain.
And while Wolves would halve the deficit and make the scoreline 2-1 with just under 20 minutes to go, Paul Lambert’s men were denied taking anything from the game as Birmingham defended well to keep the home side at bay.

Bielik’s introduction seemed to be one of the main reasons that the Blues managed to hold on. The 19-year-old – who is yet to make his Premier League debut for Arsene Wenger’s men – put in a couple of crucial tackles, including one particularly vital challenge inside the penalty box, and also made some great blocks as Zola’s side held on.
And his display did not go unnoticed by Arsenal supporters who took to social media to express their excitement about the youngster’s potential.
