Arsenal striker Danny Welbeck is set for a spell on the sidelines after he suffered an injury.
SkySports report his groin injury will keep him out until after the international break.
He will miss tonight’s Carabao Cup game with Doncaster Rovers as well as Premier League matches with West Bromwich Albion and Brighton and Hove Albion.
Welbeck is also out of the Europa League game with BATE Borisov.
The former Manchester United striker has had mixed success so far this season, starring against Bournemouth but underwhelming in other matches.
The positive for him was that he had been in favour, with Arsene Wenger starting his regularly.
This was in part due to Alexis Sanchez’s injury and late to return to the squad, and Arsenal fans are not too disappointed Welbeck will be making way.
The Gunners are yet to unleash record signing Alexandre Lacazette alongside Sanchez in the Premier League, and this could be an opportunity.
