Arsenal have a fair few players out on loan. Most of them have had successful spells away from the Emirates but none more so than Konstantinos Mavropanos.
The Greek joined Bundesliga 2 side Nuremberg back in January and he was one of their best players. Mavropanos helped the German outfit avoid relegation and interest in him from top-flight sides increased massively.
The experience abroad will do a lot of good for Mavropanos. The young defender is well down the pecking order at Arsenal, and it is unlikely he will be a regular starter next season despite his impressive loan spell.
Another loan deal would be fantastic for him and it looks like that will be the case. Greek outlet Sport-FM claim that Mavropanos has completed his medical ahead of a season-long loan spell at Stuttgart.
That really is a good move for the defender. Stuttgart are in the German top flight and experience facing some of the Bundesliga’s best players will surely make him a better player.
Stuttgart’s sporting director is Sven Mislintat, the man who brought Mavropanos to Arsenal when he was the Gunners’ head of recruitment.

Mavropanos, signed by Arsene Wenger in January 2018, still has three years left on his Arsenal contract. Many fans expected him to get a chance at the Emirates next season but most of them agree that another loan move is the best option for now.
