Arsenal will hope to keep Martin Odegaard at the club beyond the end of his loan spell – and they could target one of his international teammates too.
Odegaard is becoming a fan favourite at Arsenal having impressed since arriving on loan from Real Madrid, and there will be real hope of keeping him longer-term.
Now, Odegaard could be joined by Norway teammate Sander Berge, with Mikel Arteta and co believed to be keen on signing him.
The Sheffield Star claim that representatives working on the behalf of Arteta have been investigating a possible deal for Sander Berge.
The Blades are set to be relegated from the Premier League, meaning Berge is bound to attract interest having shown promise in the top flight.
A huge presence at 6ft 5in tall, Berge could provide something a little different in the Arsenal midfield whilst offering great competition for Granit Xhaka and Thomas Partey.

Tottenham are being encouraged to rival Arsenal for Berge’s signature, and fans have been reacting on Twitter to suggestions of a move to the red half of North London.
Some are buzzing with the rumours, believing Berge is the ideal addition to bolster Arteta’s midfield for years to come.
Others are hyped about the prospect of him joining as it ‘could be huge’ to the hopes of keeping Odegaard, highlighting their friendship whilst getting excited about the possible Norwegian connection at Arsenal next season.
