Arsenal hammered West Bromwich Albion 6-0 in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night, but Quevin Castro produced a promising display.

The Gunners made the trip to The Hawthorns desperately needing a result having lost to Brentford and Chelsea to open their Premier League season.

It ended up being just about as comfortable as possible, with Arsenal coasting to a 6-0 win.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang bagged a hat-trick, whilst Nicolas Pepe, Bukayo Saka and Alexandre Lacazette also got themselves on the scoresheet.

This will have been a massive learning curve for West Brom’s youngsters, who were always going to face a tough ask against Mikel Arteta’s side.

One player really excelled for the Baggies though, with midfielder Quevin Castro producing a promising display in the engine room.

Castro, 20, only joined West Brom this summer having been down in non-league with Bury Town – but Arsenal know all about him already.

Castro gave Arsenal a glimpse of what he’s all about, and Arsenal fans have been taking to Twitter to absolutely rave about the youngster.

Arsenal called Castro ‘really impressive’ and ‘phenomenal’, believing he wouldn’t look out of place in the current Arsenal side.
