Pepe found to add another goal though, sealing a 3-1 victory in style. Arsenal are now aiming for UEFA Conference League qualification, with just one game left to play.
Pepe stole the show with his brace, and Odegaard has received praise for his assist, but Granit Xhaka deserves huge praise too.
The Swiss midfielder came on in the second half and brought real control to proceedings, helping Arsenal push for that late win.
Xhaka has his critics and may well move on this summer, but Arsenal fans have been praising him for his impact against Palace.
Fans took to Twitter to react to Xhaka’s cameo, suggesting that his presence in the side is still vital even now.
Some believe that Xhaka’s introduction is what sparked Arsenal’s win, with fans now hoping that he stays over the summer rather than move on.
