Some Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Matteo Guendouzi for Marseille at the weekend.

Guendouzi, on loan at Marseille from Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal, was in action against Cannet Rocheville in the Coupe de France last-64.

Marseille won 4-1.

The 22-year-old midfielder provided three assists.

And some Arsenal fans were impressed, as you can see below.

Flourishing away from Arsenal

Guendouzi has not played for Arsenal for a while, and it seems that manager Arteta does not want him in his team.

The France international midfielder spent the 2020-21 campaign on loan at Hertha Berlin from Arsenal.

And then in the summer of 2021, Guendouzi moved to Marseille on loan for this season.

The Arsenal-owned midfielder has made 16 starts and two substitute appearances in Ligue 1 for Marseille so far this season.

Guendouzi has scored two goals and provided three assists in those games.

The Frenchman has also played six times in the Europa League this campaign.

Guendouzi said in November 2021 that he wants to make his loan deal at Marseille permanent.

There are reports that Marseille have an obligation to buy Guendouzi on a permanent deal, but they have not been officially confirmed.
