Arsenal picked up another win on Sunday afternoon as they beat Watford 1-0 at the Emirates Stadium – and fans seemed impressed with Martin Odegaard’s performance.

The Gunners have been impressive in recent weeks as they went into Sunday’s game on a seven-game unbeaten run in the Premier League.

That has now now become eight games as Emile Smith Rowe fired the only goal in a narrow 1-0 Arsenal win.

On another day, it could have been many more for the Gunners, but we’re back to that old chant – ‘1-0 to the Arsenal’…

Arsenal fans impressed with Odegaard

One player to have faded out of the Arsenal team in this recent run is playmaker Martin Odegaard.

The Norwegian was a big signing in August as he joined the club permanently following a strong loan spell.

After disappointing against Brighton and Hove Albion as well as Crystal Palace, Odegaard has been benched.

Odegaard did come on against Watford though and may have had a goal had Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang not snatched it from an offside position.

Still, this was better from Odegaard – and fans took to Twitter to offer him some praise.

Some called Odegaard ‘fantastic’ and ‘brilliant, suggesting that his performance was ‘phenomenal’.

Others claim to still have faith in Odegaard despite many Arsenal fans criticising him of late.
