The Spaniard can be seen sitting on a Premier League ball facing the Ivory Coast international, who is also sat on a football.
In the photo, Pépé appears to be focused on what Arteta has to say to him.
The Gunners boss could be discussing some form of individual tactics for the £72 million man, as it’s just the two of them in sight.
It seems as if Arteta has kept Pépé behind for a quick one-on-one chat after a session at London Colney, which has delighted a handful of Arsenal fans.
While the Spaniard probably has similar chats with his players all the time, this specific encounter has gained a lot of attention.
Perhaps that is because of the 25-year-old’s recent form, and also Arteta’s previous work with wide forwards.
One fan states that Raheem Sterling 2.0 is ‘incoming’ after Pépé and Arteta’s chat – of course, the 38-year-old helped coach Leroy Sane and Sterling into two of Europe’s best wide men.
Whatever Arteta has been telling his No.19 recently, it’s paying off.
The former Lille attacker has netted two goals in his last three Premier League games, scoring against Southampton and Wolves.
Interestingly, WhoScored handed him the Man of the Match award in both of those outings.
