Arsenal solidified their place at the top of Europa League’s Group E with a comfortable win over Ukranian outfit Vorskla away from home – but fans were unimpressed with Mohamed Elneny’s display.

Neat interplay between Eddie Nketiah and Aaron Ramsey set up Emile Smith-Rowe for his third goal of the season, as Arsenal broke the deadlock just 11 minutes into the match in Ukraine.

Ramsey then won a penalty just before the half-hour mark, and took it himself to double the Gunners’ advantage. Joe Willock rounded off the scoring towards the end of the first half, curling an excellent effort into the far corner.

Unai Emery mixed a handful of young stars including Smith-Rowe, Nketiah, Willock, Maitland-Niles and less so Rob Holding, with elder statesmen such as Petr Cech, Stephan Lichsteiner and Ramsey.

The win sees Arsenal sit in first place of Group E – three points above second-placed Sporting Lisbon who are on 10 points. Both Vorskla and Qarabag have earned just three points, with one game to go.

But fans were not impressed with the performance of Mohamed Elneny, with some reports suggesting that the Egypt international is in the final stretch of his Arsenal spell.

The Sun claim Arsenal are willing to offload the former FC Basel midfielder for £15million, with Leicester City said to be interested. According to fans, they would be more than willing to see the back of the midfielder.
