Arsenal already have fears over the future of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette, but another attacker looks to be moving on.

Aubameyang and Lacazette are out of contract in the summer of 2021, meaning Arsenal may have to cash in this summer before they go for nothing.

The same goes for youngster Folarin Balogun. The 19-year-old is out of contract in a year’s time, and is now set to leave the Emirates Stadium.

Goal report that Arsenal have told Balogun that he can leave this summer, after talks over a new contract broke down.

Balogun hit 10 goals and four assists in 15 Premier League 2 games this season, showing huge potential – but he’s yet to make his senior debut.

With Balogun rejecting the offer on the table from Arsenal, he looks set to go. Brentford had a £5million bid snubbed in January, and whether Arsenal get an offer even close to that remains to be seen.

It’s always disappointing when a talented young player – especially one who scores goals – looks set to leave, and Arsenal fans have bombarded Balogun with messages today.

The teenage striker posted a photo of himself in training, fending off full back Cedric Soares ahead of Arsenal’s clash with Norwich City on Wednesday.

Fans flooded Balogun with messages begging him to stay, believing that he will become a first-team star if he pens a new contract, pointing to Bukayo Saka’s emergence this season as a reason for Balogun to stay put.
