Arsenal Under-23’s beat Brighton and Hove Albion on Friday night, with Folarin Balogun producing one outstanding moment of skill.

The Gunners and Seagulls met in the Premier League on Saturday night, playing out a 0-0 draw at the Amex Stadium.

On Friday, the two sides faced off in Under-23 football. In that game, Arsenal ran out comfortable 3-0 winners.

Folarin Balogun opened the scoring before Salah Oulad M’Hand made it 2-0 for Arsenal.

Balogun then added a third from the penalty spot having created the goal himself with a stunning piece of skill.

Balogun nutmegged defender Odel Offiah with a nonchalant flick.

The Arsenal striker then ran to the ball and drew a foul from Offiah, converting the spot kick himself.

Arsenal fans react to Balogun skill

Arsenal fans tend to love Balogun anyway and ultimately believe that the young striker is a star of the future.

This moment of skill simply reinforced that for many, believing that the moment was ‘madness’ and ‘rude.

Others believe that Balogun is simply too good for Under-23 football already and needs a loan move away from Arsenal.

That could come in January, with fans hoping that he will have a chance to shine in the Championship.
