Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal are now facing competition from Manchester United for Everton forward Richarlison, according to Goal.

Goal have reported that Manchester United are considering making a move for Brazil international forward Richarlison in the summer transfer window.

This will come as a blow for Arsenal.

That’s because the Gunners are also reportedly keen on securing the services of the 24-year-old, described as “frightening” and “unbelievable” by Boreham Wood manager Luke Garrard in The Mail earlier this month.

Planet Sport reported this month that Arsenal Technical Director Edu is a huge fan of his Brazilian compatriot and wants to sign him for the North London club.

Arsenal or Manchester United for Richarlison?

In our opinion, Arsenal could have an edge over Manchester United in the race for Everton forward Richarlison.

Now, of course, we know that United are one of the biggest clubs in the world.

But things have not been great at Old Trafford for a while now, and there is a chance that they may not end up in the Premier League top four this season.

As for Arsenal, the Gunners are growing as a team under Arteta, who could lead the club back into the Champions League.

Richarlison is only 24, and his best years are ahead of him.

Playing for a young Arsenal team could appeal to the Brazilian, who has scored 42 goals in 163 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
