Juventus midfielder, Fabio Miretti, who has been linked with a move to Arsenal was once compared to Kevin De Bruyne by Italy U-21 manager, Paolo Nicolato.
CMW had reported that the Premier League giants are interested in Miretti.
In fact, it was also stated that Arsenal could potentially even launch a bid worth £35.5 million for the highly-rated wonderkid.
In a Juventus side that has been met with plenty of stick for their dour displays this season, Fabio Miretti has been a rare positive.
Despite only starting 6 Serie A games this term, the 19-year-old has already proven why he is heralded as one of Italy’s most exciting youngsters.
Arsenal could certainly do with a player of the class and potential of Miretti.
In the creative department, Mikel Arteta’s side only have Martin Odegaard to pull the strings.
And the club’s reported transfer target has been likened to one of the best midfielders of his generation.
Arsenal-linked Fabio Miretti has been compared to Kevin De Bruyne

Arsenal-linked starlet Fabio Miretti was compared to none other than Kevin De Bruyne by Italy U-21 boss, Paolo Nicolato.
“Fabio [Miretti] is a strong player, very good technically. He’s an attacking midfielder but he can play anywhere in midfield.”
“His best quality is his first control, he’s always very clean and intelligent, and has direction for his play. He knows how to shoot well at the goalkeeper. He needs to improve some aspects of the game and also in the defensive phase, but that’s normal for his age.”
“I’m sure he will give satisfaction, he also has physique and intensity, intelligent and applied.”
“I couldn’t say right off the bat but he could be a [Kevin] De Bruyne”, Nicolato told Corriere dello Sport.
The Gunners should be excited if Miretti is even remotely close to KDB
With Kevin De Bruyne widely hailed as the best midfielder in the world, Arsenal should be over the moon by Fabio Miretti being tipped to reach similar heights.
While Martin Odegaard has now started to get goals and assists, he remains more of a classic playmaker, in the mould of Mesut Ozil.
If Miretti can come into the side and become much more of a protagonist in the same vein as De Bruyne, this Arsenal side will become even scarier then they currently are.
