Everton and West Ham United are both interested in signing Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette during the January transfer window.

That’s according to a report from Jeunes Footeux back in Lacazette’s native France, so they may have connections to Lacazette’s camp.

It’s stated that Arsenal have decided to sell Lacazette in the January transfer window due to his contract situation.

Lacazette is out of contract at the end of the season and seemingly won’t be signing a new Arsenal deal.

That means Arsenal are willing to sell Lacazette in January before he leaves for absolutely nothing.

Everton and West Ham now appear to be keen on a bargain deal for Lacazette to bolster their attacking options.

Lacazette wanted by Everton and West Ham, would Arsenal miss him?

Both Everton and West Ham need strikers.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s injury woes this season don’t look like ending soon, whilst Salomon Rondon doesn’t look like scoring.

Lacazette would give Rafael Benitez another proven goalscorer in Calvert-Lewin’s absence, though he would earn considerable wages.

The Frenchman earns £180,000-a-week according to The Mirror. West Ham need to find support for Michail Antonio, but neither they nor Everton are really in a position to be matching those wages.

Given Lacazette’s age, Arsenal would be wise not to give Lacazette a new deal, but they may still miss him.

Lacazette made a huge impact as a substitute against Crystal Palace on Monday. He brought energy to the game and then found a last-gasp equaliser.

Branded ‘phenomenal’ by Mikel Arteta just last month, Lacazette still has major quality and could come back to haunt Arsenal if he joins another Premier League club.
