Barcelona playmaker Philippe Coutinho has offers on the table from Arsenal, Everton and Tottenham Hotspur ahead of the January window.

It wouldn’t be a transfer window without Coutinho being linked with a big return to the Premier League.

The Brazilian playmaker has failed to live up to his billing since joining Barcelona for a huge £146million in 2018.

With Barcelona desperate to slash their wage bill, Coutinho is one player who could be offloaded in January.

Now, Mundo Deportivo report that Coutinho is starting to accept that he needs to leave Barcelona in the January window.

Coutinho has no interest in signing for Newcastle United, but three other clubs are in the mix.

Coutinho’s agent is understood to have proposals on the table from Arsenal, Everton and Tottenham.

Kia Joorabchian represents Coutinho and has close ties to Arsenal’s Edu, but it’s the kind of signing Arsenal should avoid.

Approaching 30, on big wages and with his best days seemingly behind him, Coutinho isn’t all that appealing anymore.

The same goes for Everton and just where would he fit into the Tottenham side?

It’s hard to imagine Coutinho joining any of those clubs, but with Barcelona needing to get rid, some clubs may sense a bargain.
