Sunday afternoon’s trip to Turf Moor to take on Burnley proved to be a highly frustrating affair for Arsenal.
Despite dominating for much of the game, their hosts held firm throughout, limiting Arsene Wenger’s side to just a handful of chances.
They managed to find their way through in the end, though, as a controversial late strike from Laurent Koscielny saw them take all three points.

While they struggled for their best form throughout the game, two of their men was busy shining as they dominated two key areas.
One man was midfielder Santi Cazorla who, in another dominant midfield display, posted 102 accurate passes in the game.
| Position | Team | Accurate Passes | Mins Played | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Santiago Cazorla | MF | Arsenal | 102 | 90 |
| Jordan Henderson | MF | Liverpool | 79 | 90 |
| Pierre-Emile Højbjerg | MF | Southampton | 77 | 90 |
| José Fonte | DF | Southampton | 77 | 90 |
| Ander Herrera | MF | Man Utd | 73 | 84 |
That is an impressive number to say the least but even more so when you consider it was the most managed by any player in the Premier League this weekend.
Indeed, his closest competitor was Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson and even he was 23 behind.

He was not the only Arsenal man to get in on the act, though, as Alexis Sanchez dominated a stat of his own.

| Ross Barkley | Everton | 7 | 77 |
| Dimitri Payet | West Ham | 5 | 90 |
| Marcos Alonso | Chelsea | 4 | 90 |
| Nordin Amrabat | Watford | 4 | 90 |

role, it is fair to say that the Chilean is expected to score the goals rather than create them.
However, it appears he was busy doing the latter against Burnley as he registered eight in total, beating off competition from Everton’s Ross Barkley, who managed seven against Crystal Palace.
